syrupUSDC is the deposit token for the Maple Finance lending pools, issued by Maple International Operations SPC on behalf of Secured Loan Segregated Portfolio 1. Deposited USDC is lent as overcollateralized fixed-rate loans to crypto-native institutional borrowers that post liquid digital assets as collateral, with a portion of pool capital allocated to supporting yield strategies. The pool follows the ERC-4626 standard, so the token balance does not rebase and the value of each token accrues as borrowers repay.
